Using the Friends menu to keep in touch with friends

Finding classmates
In the image on the previous page, you will notice the link “More Ways to Find Friends”. Clicking that will expand the link and you will see the following section becoming visible (see image below):
You can now use either of the 2 links “Find former high school classmates” or “Find current or past university classmates”. These links will take you to the page (see image below) where you can fill out the details of the high school or college/ university you studied in, and let Facebook look if anybody from your educational institute is registered on Facebook.

You must be wondering how Facebook knows which educational institute somebody went to. Well, that is because you have not yet filled out your profile completely! Just as you are searching for friends from your school, others must be searching too – and if you want Facebook to find you for them, you have to fill up your profile completely, including the education information.
