Using the Friends menu to keep in touch with friends
Inviting friends to join Facebook
If you select “Invite Friends” from the pull down menu shown on the previous page, you will see the following screen (see image below):
Go ahead and invite your friends to join Facebook!
Communicating with friends
You can communicate with your Facebook friends using the Status Updates feature. Or you can write messages to them and read theirs using the Inbox feature.
Status Updates
Select “Status Updates” from the pull down Friends menu at the top. You will see a screen like this image below:
Your friends can now tell where you are, what are you doing, and you can tell where they are! Use this cool feature for real-time communication of your status.
