Using the Friends menu to keep in touch with friends

Inbox – write to your friends, see what they have written to you

In the top menu bar, you will find the Inbox pull down menu. Clicking on the small triangle beside “Inbox” on the top menu provides you with the following options (see image below):

Invite your friends to Facebook

Use your Inbox like a regular inbox – emailing system. However, on Facebook, you can only send messages to and receive messages from your Facebook friends. You can either go to your “Message Inbox” for reading new and old messages, or go to “Sent Messages” folder to read the messages you sent to others, or you can compose a new message by selecting “Compose Message”. In Notifications, you can check your notifications. You will need to subscribe to Notifications – the link is available in the Notifications screen.
