Using the Networks menu to network
You can browse and join networks on Facebook. A group of people connected to each other creates a network. Use the “Networks” menu on the top menu bar – between the Friends and Inbox menu items. Clicking on the pull down triangle beside it will give you two options (see image below):

Browsing for Networks
Facebook is made up of many networks. You can browse for a network by Region, College, Workplace (Company) or High School.
Browsing networks by Region
If you select “Browse for Networks” from the Networks pull down menu at the top (as shown in the previous image), you will be presented with a screen with four different ways to browse for a network. The default is by Region, and you will see the following page (see image below):

If you stay in Dallas/ Fort Worth in Texas, or are interested in seeing what’s going on there, click on the Dallas/ Fort Worth city link under Texas, and you will be privy to the buzzing activity inside this busy network (see Image 15 below).

Each network home page has various sections – Network Info, People, Upcoming Events, Flyers, Popular, Discussion Board, Marketplace, and of course the Wall.
